Connecting Wirelessly via Apple TV
Some of our teaching venues have Apple TVs installed which allows users with MACs, IPADS and iphones to connect wirelessly via Airplay to the projectors. Please check the teaching room information you are teaching in to check and see if there is one installed in the room you are using.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled and the latest iOS software is on your apple device
- Connect your MAC, iPhone, iPad, to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.
- Open the control centre on your apple device.
- Tap Screen Mirroring
- Select your Apple TV which will be the name of the theatre you are in
- An AirPlay passcode will appear on the projector screen, enter the passcode on your iOS or iPadOS device.
To stop mirroring your iOS or iPadOS device, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring. Or press the Menu button on your Apple TV Remote.
