Blackboard is the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at NUI Galway.

It allows you to:

• share learning materials and lecture notes with your students (see Manage Content)
• communicate with your tutors and students, using email, discussion forums and various other module tools  (See Communication)
• create assignments, quizzes and surveys (see Assessment)
• enter and return marks for a student on a module (see Online Results Return).
